I am very happy to see the Yankee Doodle Tap Room restaurant in Palmer Square in downtown Princeton will return again this year.

The Tap Room’s Facebook announced the news, stating that they will accept your reservation starting on December 1st (until November 1st). I can't believe we are only a few weeks away from December. Hint...this will be a superb view of the Christmas tree lighting in Palmer Square on Friday, November 26th.

The igloo is set on the terrace of the Tap Room, as shown below. With all the festive lighting and Palmer Square Christmas, this must be a festive experience and a truly unique way of dining.

Igloos were originally used as a way to eat safely during the pandemic, but I hope they become an annual event. They are very cute and a great way to immerse yourself in the charming atmosphere of Palmer Square.

I booked an igloo last year, but unfortunately it had to be cancelled because of the wind, so I am looking forward to going this year. The Princeton holiday is amazing.

Here are some details of the igloo. There are two sizes. The smaller igloo can accommodate 2-6 people, with a time limit of 1 hour and 45 minutes. Food and beverages start at USD 150. The larger igloo can accommodate 6-8 people, with a time limit of 2 hours and 15 minutes. The minimum for food and beverages is $250.

The reservation is made through Resy. Click here for more information, menus and reservations.
