Spinning classes and hot yoga helped her keep in shape.

Jessica Alba posted a last-minute photo dump of her favorite summer photos on Instagram, and she is delivering all the summer vibes just in case you miss the warm weather. The 40-year-old actress shared photos of her summer adventures, including snorkeling, sunbathing and hanging out by the pool.

In the last photo, she is balancing on the paddle board (there are five other people, by the way-it's not a big deal). Oh, her abs looks very fit. Jessica wears a black top and sports shorts, and her "fit" shows her sculptural core. She looks sportier and stronger than ever, and people fully noticed in the comments.

In addition to many, many heart-shaped emojis, many users noticed that Jessica’s photos look a bit like some of her famous movies. Flippers, anyone? Still going into blue?

"The last of summer #photodump ☀️⚡️," Jessica captioned these snapshots:

So, how does Jessica stay so healthy? First, she improved her exercise program last year. Jessica told Women's Health that the pandemic has changed her view of sports.

"I always think that I need to sweat in the water, I need muscle failure, I need to feel like I just ran a marathon-this is how I need to work hard," she said. Now, "I, I have learned to mix it up, if I don't commit suicide, you know, I won't feel like a loser."

Jessica usually exercises two to four times a week, and Pilates reformer is one of her top choices. "I feel every muscle in my core," she added. "I don't even know what those things I have." Other days, she goes to a spinning class or a hot yoga class.

"I like high-intensity exercise; I like to move around. I don't like a lot of repetition," she told Byrdie. "I will always exercise with my friends because it is more fun."

Moreover, she pays more attention to her mental health. For Jessica, self-care came first—almost before she got up.

"In the morning, I put on a mask and put on a thick lip balm so that I can stay under this layer of moisture while drinking coffee," she told Women's Health. "It reminds me that I can also take care of myself. Starting a new day is a little bit of tender care."

As for her diet, Jessica prefers a plant-based diet. "Four days a week, I try to eat plant-based foods, and I don't drink alcohol," she said. "Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all bets were cancelled. It seemed to me modest."

She also likes to cook. According to Byrdie, everything from stir-fry to pasta to Cornish pheasant is fair. Moreover, she starts with her favorite smoothie every morning. Jessica said that almond butter, coconut water, fruit, and sometimes chocolate are mixed together in a blender to make everyone a favorite breakfast.

Her overall dietary philosophy? "Always try to eat as much fresh and natural things as possible in your diet, and try to eat less processed things and things that contain unnatural sugars," she told Burdy. For life (brb, now I want to eat chocolate).
