Just like sportswear, Vuori is quiet and unassuming: functional items in neutral colors are designed for performance and sustainability. There are no gorgeous prints, celebrity endorsements or high fashion collaborations. If you see a pair of Vuori jogging pants hanging in the store, you may not even look at it again (although you will sing a different tune after rubbing the fabric). Meet @stefcorgel, @torrsim, and @remykam. The three coaches became influencers that I followed faithfully, and they wore Vuori. As a collaborator and ambassador for a clothing brand founded in Encinitas, California in 2013, you might think the answer is obvious. But my inner optimist believes there must be more. Their praise of fit and style, softness and support quickly disappointed me. A simple heather gray fitness suit suddenly became the most fashionable thing I have ever seen. I had to do it myself and see what all the hype was about (you know, in the name of research). Spoiler alert: It did not disappoint.

Each item has both comfort and functionality, and the iconic softness is an outstanding feature. The shorts and leggings feel smooth and safe, not as synthetic or slippery as many others I have tried. They are light and elastic, but supportive and durable, they retain their shape and texture after multiple sweaty treadmill runs (even keeping me warm on the first cold days of autumn). The bra was unexpectedly supported, and the shirt was refreshing and not fussy. I wish I ordered a smaller size in the jogging pants, but in most cases everything fits the size-this is almost impossible to guarantee when ordering online.
