Junior captain Bobby Humphrey followed close behind and successfully converted the sprint with 1:56 left in the half, leading 14-8. Later, senior quarterback Jackson Rice threw a 7-yard TD pitch to Bonefont. Humphrey followed closely and successfully converted and extended the lead to 22-8. The Lions (8-1) advance to the quarterfinals and will visit the fourth seed North Bridge; the game will move to 7pm on Thursday

Algonquin 28, Nashoba 7: Coleman Hostage passed the touchdown to Jason Levin (20 yards) and Devondrick Ines (7 yards), Paul Ramos added a pair of 1-yard touchdowns to lead hosts Algonquin (7-2). Malone Duhaime returned a 40-yard error to score a touchdown for the Wolves (3-6).

MIAA District 2 second round finals: Hopkinton 2, Nashoba 1.

MIAA Division 4 Preliminaries: Lunenburg 4, Trivium 1: Cole Keefer and Brady Iovanni both scored a goal and an assist to beat the hosts No. 28 Blue Knights (10-3-4) over No. 37 Eagles in the 4th division preliminaries Team pairing. Lunenburg will head to fifth seed Cohasset at 4:30 pm on Saturday. Oscar Schafers scored for Trivium.

MIAA Division 4 Second round: Valley Tech 4, Clinton 0: Maggie Nugent scored twice, while Faith Sawyer and Madison Carter added goals, the No. 5 Beavers (17-1-2) will be the No. 28 Gale (6 -9- 2) The second round of the playoffs in Division 4. MIAA Division 2 Round 2: Nashoba 3, North Attleborough 1: Nashoba (#16 seed) hosted the 32nd round of the MIAA tournament in North Attleboro (#17 seed). Nasuba won in four games: 29-19, 12-25, 25-21 and 25-16. Kylie Doherty helped Nashoba win tonight. She had 11 kills, 5 aces, 16 assists and 11 digs. Ally Descoteaux had 9 kills, 2 assists and 3 digs. Addy Ogden (Addy Ogden) also spent a good night, he got 6 kills, 1 ace and 12 excavations.

MIAA Division 4 second round: South Lancaster 3, Stoneham 2: 14-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-12, 15-12.

In the MIAA Division 7 quarter-finals, Clinton will head to the top seed Wahconah at 6 pm on Friday, November 12th.

In the MIAA DIvision 7 quarter-finals, the fifth seed West Boylston will visit the fourth seed North Bridge. The game will be moved to Thursday, November 11 at 7 pm. North Bridge is the Lions’ only loss (22-20). That was the first game of the year. West Boylston has won eight consecutive times and is now 8-1.

Nashoba will host Shepherd Hill on Friday, November 12th at 7pm
