Finding a bra that fits can be difficult. It’s no secret that it usually takes many failed attempts. This is where the Braave system comes in, because it uses 3D printing and scanning technology to produce customer-specific customized "Fusion Bras".

After the initial order, the customer will receive a link to download Braave's BreastID iOS app-it should be noted that the system is only compatible with iPhone X and higher models.

Using the application and the phone’s depth map camera, users can perform a two-minute 3D scan of their naked upper body. No, their faces are not in the camera. In addition, the obtained image is a three-dimensional depth map, not an actual photo.

Once the encrypted depth map is sent back to the company, it will be used to create the Fusion Bra itself. The garment uses a custom 3D printed UnderFit, rather than a traditional steel ring, and is designed to comfortably curve around the chest cavity under the customer's chest.

The rest of the bra includes a separate size (but not 3D printed) left cup, right cup and back. They are made of so-called "super soft" fabrics, 75% of which come from recycled plastic bottles.

Fusion Bra is now available for purchase through the Braave website at a price of US$75.
