This pair from [BLANKNYC] is made with a viscose and polyurethane blend with a zipper and button closure. With a 29" inseam and sizes 24 to 31, this pair is also available made from denim.

Most faux leather pants are only available in black, with possibly other neutral shades like brown. In our research, this style had the best range of shades available, including neons, pastels and white shades. Testers found that this pair is quite fitted, so some opted to go up a size for a better fit. GH analysts especially liked just how soft and smooth the fabric is.

Abercrombie's new Curve Love line is designed for people with wider hips and smaller waists to prevent gaping at the back of your pants. Testers adored this pair of straight leg faux leather pants, loving that they "hug you perfectly, but still have enough stretch to remain comfy if sitting for extended periods of time." Testers liked that you had the option for short, standard or tall inseams — no tailoring necessary! This pair is best for colder months as it has a brushed interior that ran hot, according to testers. Most testers found they had to size up in this pair. If you prefer a more traditional fit, Abercrombie also offers this style in standard sizing.

These faux leather pants from Madewell are available in plus sizing as well as petite, tall and standard. Plus-size testers raved how comfortable this pair is with one saying "I've had my more than fair share of faux leather pants and leggings in the past and never had any as comfortable and breathable as these." Testers didn't note any noise when walking around (common with other faux leather pants!). Note that this pair only offers tall inseams with standard sizing.

With flare pants, you absolutely need the proper inseam length to achieve the desired style. This pair from Gap combines the flare style with faux leather materials — and it offers petite, standard and tall sizing with different inseam lengths. They're high-waisted and fitted throughout the leg before flaring out at the bottom.

One tester said this pair is an "office wardrobe staple" as it can easily be styled for work and social outings too. The paperbag waistband is very flattering and forgiving without digging in like traditional trousers.

Embrace your inner rock star with an edgy pair of faux leather pants. This style from Urban Outfitters has a slouchy fit with zipper detailing at the top. Although we haven't tried this specific pair yet, GH pros love UO pants for using comfortable materials with stylish, on-trend touches.

Pregnant testers raved that the belly band was "so soft" while staying in place. Testers loved that the waistband allowed them to wear this pair throughout their pregnancy, and even afterwards too. As with other Spanx products, testers found it ran a bit tight and some opted to go up a size.

Embrace the wide leg pants trend with vegan leather materials. This pair from Mango features very wide legs with chic pleats in the front. Some trousers only have fake pockets, but this pick has five real pockets that are roomy enough to fit your phone and other necessities.

Most faux leather pants tend to be fitted throughout the leg, but this jogger style from Commando has a loose, comfy fit. GH analysts found this style "extremely comfortable and versatile," wearing this pair lounging and then out to dinner. We found no changes in appearance after multiple wash cycles. Currently, only the color black is available.

Reviewers love the chic stitching detailing on these best-selling Free People carpenter style vegan pants. Fitted at the waist, this pair has a loose wide leg fit that's slightly cropped. They're available in four chic shades, including silver and red. Online reviewers recommend going up a size as this pair runs small.

Enjoy the leather trend even when the weather warms up with faux leather shorts. This stretchy high waistband has a paperbag design with a drawstring for an adjustable fit. While it's available in six chic shades, this pick has limited sizes in small to x-large. With over 5,000 Amazon reviews, many agree that this pair feels super luxe for the price, saying they "look and feel like real leather."

✔️ Material: While there are different types of vegan leather used in handbags and other accessories, most faux leather pants are made with synthetic material that has a coating for a shiny leather-like look. Many featured styles are made with polyester blend fabrics with a polyurethane coating. For additional comfort, opt for materials with spandex or elastane for a bit of stretch.

✔️ Fit: Just like any pants, faux leather pants are available with different fits like skinny, wide leg, cropped, legging and more. Some styles offer short or tall inseams, which were very popular among our testers.
