Gore Wear, the apparel company for both cyclists and runners has just introduced a new line built specifically for bikepacking. The launch comes not too long after the “Made To Last” line that we covered back in March. Their new Explore Kit line of cycling apparel looks to be adding to their Freedom to Explore Collection and will simply be a new kit that will help keep your bikepacking adventures simple and comfortable.

Gore Wear says that this is part of their capsule collection for both bikepacking and gravel riding. They say that it’s light and packable, which should come in handy when storage space is at a premium. It come’s in a versatile and fast-drying blend of both merino wool and polyester that Gore Wear say brings the best qualities of both. It wicks sweat, stays smelling fresh for longer periods, and has a contemporary look that will work well off the bike.

These shirts are retailing for $90 in both women’s and men’s flavors. They are cut in a slim fit, and come in the following sizes and colors:

When you venture away from the pure Tarmac, your kit and clothing demands change according to Gore Wear. They say that these shorts are made with a stretch/woven fabric that is completely new to Gore Wear. This new fabric has allowed them to create a functional all-day riding short, that has a “streamlined silhouette.”

Gore Wear says that this streamlined silhouette is possible thanks to the stretch that is built in to the shorts allowing a closely tailored fit while maintaining “complete freedom for your pedaling movement.” They also state that the rear panel provides water-resistant protection from wheel spray, helping to keep your shorts dry and grit free.

These shorts are retailing for $130 in both women’s and men’s. They are cut in a slim fit, and come in the following sizes and colors:
